They say that once, humans and trees used to be friends.
I think, that’s under-rated
It know, it was so much more than that.
I knew many buds, many shoots and seeds
I was as close to them as the sun is to those flowers, sitting in your window.
And that’s pretty close, isn’t it?
They grew together, compact and safe
But each little seed, needed it’s own room to grow
You never walk through a wood without the space to spin.
And as sisters of these tiny plants,
We felt it our duty, to cling to the core,
Despite the fact, it tore our hands.
We hung on.
But so vastly did these trees grow apart, they created their own worlds.
Of forests and woods and farms.
(Utopia within Haven within Heaven)
I became as close to buds, shoots and seeds,
As you are to your next door neighbours
And that’s rather distant, isn’t it?
I got older, but never wore gloves, when digging in the garden
It let me feel the earth on my hands
And see the roots, spreading across my palm.

maybe if you cross your fingers
and if you count from one to ten
you can get up from the ground again
it doesn't matter, the whole things just a
Game.
